Bereans Quiz App ("we", "our", or "the App") is a Bible-focused quiz application designed to strengthen spiritual growth through reading, learning, and answering Bible questions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

- Account Information: Name, email address (via Google Sign-In), and profile photo URL provided by your Google account.
- Profile Information: Date of birth, phone number (optional), church selection, and language preference that you provide during onboarding.
- Quiz Data: Your quiz attempts, answers, scores, and completion status.
- Device Information: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for delivering push notifications to your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
- Authentication: To verify your identity and provide access to the App.
- App Functionality: To display quizzes, track your progress, calculate scores, and show church-based leaderboards.
- Notifications: To send you push notifications about new quizzes, announcements, and reminders.
- Personalization: To display content in your preferred language (English or Tamil).
- Church Leaderboards: To display quiz rankings among members of the same church only.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Storage) with encryption in transit and at rest.
- Access to data is protected by Firebase Security Rules that enforce per-user and per-church data isolation.
- Church members can only view leaderboard data within their own church. No cross-church data is accessible.
- Admin access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

- Your account data is retained as long as your account remains active.
- Quiz attempt data is retained for historical results and leaderboard purposes.

- Update your profile information (name, phone, date of birth, church, language) at any time via the Edit Profile screen.
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
